Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Interns will participate in leadership and communication training, assist with social media content and publications, support planning and implementation of a community service project, and contribute to youth-focused educational materials.
  • They will work both independently and in teams, maintain professionalism and respect at all times, complete assignments on schedule, and represent themselves.
  • Applicants must complete an interview and be selected based on professionalism, communication skills, and demonstrated interest in leadership development.
Requirements
  • In person
  • Youth age 14 to 24 years old
  • Must be able to participate safely in program activities with or without reasonable accommodation (sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds)
  • Must be prepared to engage professionally in each setting, follow site-specific guidelines, and maintain safe and respectful behavior at all times
  • Must provide transportation to all orientation, training, worksite, and cohort times
Preferred
  • Ideal candidates are goal-oriented; interested in community service, public speaking, marketing, or youth programming; willing to try new things; and able to follow a business-casual dress code.
