Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive event strategies aligned with business goals, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of event specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Guide the planning, execution, and optimization of a diverse portfolio of events, including tradeshows, conferences, executive programs, and virtual experiences.
  • Oversee event logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and on-site execution to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality attendee experiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and creative teams to ensure event assets and messaging are compelling, on-brand, and tailored to target audiences.
  • Set KPIs, analyze event performance, and use insights to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI.
  • Direct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience needs to inform event positioning and innovation.
  • Champion new event formats, technologies, and approaches to keep Socure at the forefront of event marketing.
  • Ensure all events adhere to brand guidelines, compliance standards, and data privacy regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in event marketing or event management, with proven ability to lead integrated event programs and manage budgets independently.
  • Deep knowledge of event strategy, logistics, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft and guide compelling event narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with event management platforms, marketing automation tools, and digital collaboration tools.
