Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of core scientific communications projects and deliverables
  • Translate complex data and science into clear, compelling narratives and storytelling for diverse audiences
  • Engage audiences with varying degrees of scientific literacy
  • Deliverables may include data and medical meeting materials (press releases, backgrounders, Q&A documents, social content, investor presentations, talking points)
  • Develop clinical trial materials to support recruitment with compelling calls-to-action
  • Create campaign/program messaging differentiating a scientific approach or product offering
  • Manage projects end-to-end, clarifying scope, version control, and role flexibility
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and contribution to pricing/scope development
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities with triage based on urgency and impact
  • Serve as strategic scientific partner across multiple workstreams and guide messaging

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a life sciences discipline (MD, PhD) or clinical training (PharmD, MD, NP, PA)
  • 5+ years of communications or other relevant experience, including advertising
  • Experience in corporate communications, PR, or investor relations (preferred)
  • Familiarity with at least one therapeutic area: oncology, immunology, cardiometabolic/obesity, rare disease, neuroscience (helpful but not required)
  • Ability to scale and adapt to evolving business needs and meet quick timelines

Preferred

  • preferred — experience within pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors (corporate communications, PR, or investor relations)
