Job Summary

Own the school’s social and creative storytelling pipeline: plan and post daily across multiple platforms, produce original graphics and photos, and shape a cohesive visual identity for campaigns, events, and admissions.

  • Social Content Ownership: plan, create, schedule, and post across Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and more, with a focus on authentic student life and campus moments.
  • Creative Production & Asset Mastery: design print collateral and merchandise, shoot events, and archive assets for digital and print use.
  • Campaign Support & Strategy Input: back major campaigns and fundraising with targeted visuals and contribute to marketing strategy discussions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media: Plan, create, schedule, and post daily content across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and others)
  • Monitor engagement and analytics to optimize reach and performance
  • Stay on top of trends and best practices in social media to keep the school’s voice dynamic and engaging
  • Collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to generate authentic, timely content
  • Graphic Design: Create original designs and provide graphic design support for print materials, signage, spirit store merchandise, and other marketing collateral; this includes the resizing, updating, and adapting existing designs for a variety of uses.
  • Creative Asset Management: Photograph events, student life, and campus moments that tell the St. Edward story
  • Archive photo and video content for use across digital and print platforms
  • Collaboration & Support: Support major campaigns, admissions initiatives, fundraising efforts, and events with targeted content and strategic visuals
  • Assist in shaping the school’s visual identity across all platforms
  • Contribute ideas and creative input to marketing strategy discussions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Digital Media, or related field
  • A strong portfolio of creative work
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in marketing or creative production (school or nonprofit experience a plus)
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for visual composition
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, Canva, Sprout, Adobe Creative Suite, photo and video editing tools
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
