Job Summary

Support the Design Manager in delivering brand-aligned donor materials while collaborating across the Development Marketing team, with a focus on materials that reflect environmental and racial justice priorities.

  • Design email and web graphics, decks, infographics, event, and print materials.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and production stakeholders to ensure cohesive brand and content.
  • Center equity in materials and contribute to environmental justice-focused campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the Design Manager in creating marketing materials for the organization’s current and prospective donor audiences.
  • Collaborate with the entire Development Marketing team, including writers, editors, and production stakeholders.
  • Design a variety of materials including email and web graphics, slide decks, infographics, event materials, and various print materials.
  • Assist in asset management responsibilities for the organization’s photo library, including organizing the digital library, sourcing photography and assets for designed materials, and collaborating across departments to generate new leads.
  • Actively participate in centering racial justice and equity in donor marketing materials, ensuring cultural competence in all content that also reflect the environmental justice priorities of our programs.
  • With the support of the Design Manager, the Graphic Design Intern will have the option to create design projects from concept to execution that adhere to the organization’s brand and mission.
  • The Graphic Design Intern will join a Fall 2026 internship cohort that will participate in development opportunities, including a Capstone project, informational interviews with staff, and organization-wide training and discussions.

Requirements

  • Experience: Preferred - Graphic Design coursework, work experience, extracurriculars, etc.
  • Skills: Required - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, shown via a portfolio or work examples; Highly organized; strong attention to detail; excellent written and oral communications skills; strong research skills; exhibits solid judgment; critical thinking skills; able to work independently and as a team; able to handle multiple tasks; self-starter; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

Preferred

  • Preferred - Experience with Dropbox and Figma.
  • Capstone project participation (Fall 2026 internship cohort)
