Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, recurring donors, corporate sponsors, and community supporters.
- Build and maintain a donor pipeline from prospect identification through ongoing relationship management and stewardship.
- Coordinate donor communications, recognition programs, appreciation efforts, and fundraising appeals.
- Develop sponsorship opportunities and secure event and program sponsorships.
- Track donor engagement, fundraising activities, and campaign outcomes.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish fundraising goals and measure performance.
- Maintain accurate donor records and provide regular fundraising reports.
- Serve as an ambassador for Friends of Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy within the community.
- Build relationships with local businesses, civic organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and community groups.
Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on experience performing nonprofit fundraising, development, donor relations, sponsorship outreach, or closely related work.
- Strong writing, editing, research, and persuasive communication skills.
- Ability to translate an organization’s mission and impact into clear, compelling donor messages.
- Self-directed and comfortable taking ownership of multiple priorities, deadlines, outreach efforts, and stakeholder relationships.
- Comfort using donor databases, spreadsheets, email platforms, and common productivity tools.
- Sound judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and respect for confidentiality.
- Existing knowledge of the local philanthropic community or relevant funder networks is a plus.
