Job Description
Responsibilities
- Write and refine storyboards and copy for organic and paid social media, web pages, email newsletters, artist profiles, exhibition descriptions, and digital ads, including shortform video.
- Adapt tone and style across institutional, editorial, and social contexts for a range of art and culture clients.
- Support editorial production, including contributing to article drafts, interview edits, and feature writing as needed.
- Incorporate feedback from account managers, designers, and clients efficiently through multiple revision rounds.
- Maintain brand voice consistency and uphold high standards for clarity, accuracy, and cultural fluency.
- Assist with CMS publishing and quality control as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional copywriting experience, with a portfolio demonstrating art, culture, or related field work.
- Deep familiarity with contemporary art and cultural discourse; comfortable writing for both specialist and general audiences.
- Experience writing for digital channels including social, email, and web.
- Strong editing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly, manage deadlines, and communicate proactively with a remote team.
- Familiarity with Figma, Google Presentation, Claude, CMS platforms, Notion, or Basecamp a plus.
