Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert in underwriting, including special pricing and marketing projects.
• Meet with clients and the Financial & Underwriting team to define and accomplish projects.
• Lead and manage all assigned client underwriting projects and present analysis to clients directly.
• Maintain data tracking and reporting for financial management, underwriting models, and client reports.
• Competent in multiple carrier data and reporting systems to obtain claim data for reporting and analysis.
• Lead in training development and execution on underwriting and analysis topics; mentor team members.
• Address incoming correspondence and respond in a timely manner; ensure data standards and integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Eight (8) or more years of related work experience
• One (1) or more years of management experience in leading a team of at least 3 individuals
• Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
• Valid Insurance License within 90 Days
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced MS Excel skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills
• Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
• Ability to manage mid-level and large projects and lead assigned teams
• Ability to work productively as an individual to accomplish assigned projects
• Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
