Drive field marketing activities as a 1099 Field Marketing Associate distributing promotional materials via company scooter.

  • Must-have: Distribute door hangers along pre-planned routes using a company-provided scooter.
  • Standout: Must be able to walk 10k–20k steps/day and operate a scooter safely as a contractor.
  • Standout: 1099 independent contractor with provided scooter, materials, and branded apparel.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Pick up your company-provided scooter and marketing materials from our shop in Hoyt each morning.
  • Follow assigned neighborhood routes using our mapping application on your smartphone.
  • Carefully and efficiently distribute door hangers at residences.
  • Operate the scooter safely and responsibly throughout the community.
  • Maintain a positive and professional representation of Augusta Lawn Care by adhering to the dress code.

Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop in Hoyt.
  • Ability to safely operate a scooter.
  • Must be able to walk extensively, between 10,000 and 20,000 steps per day.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Own a smartphone (iOS or Android) and be able to use a map application.
  • A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
  • Provided Equipment: We provide the scooter, marketing materials, and branded apparel (shirts, outerwear, hats).
  • Required Attire: A provided company hat must be worn at all times.
  • Warm Weather: Wear a provided clean company t-shirt with your own plain clean shorts or long pants (color should be black, grey, tan, or brown).
  • Cold Weather: Wear a provided company hoodie and/or jacket with your own tan, black, grey, or brown work pants (e.g., Carhartt style) or khaki slacks.
  • Footwear: Comfortable walking or running shoes are recommended. Boots are not required.
