Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Association's Marketing Team, including the Graphic Designer and Digital Marketing Specialist.
• Establish annual marketing priorities that align with the YMCA's strategic plan and organizational goals.
• Develop and manage the Association's annual marketing calendar and campaign schedule.
• Serve as the Association's strategic marketing leader and advisor to the Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership.
• Partner with Executive Directors, Membership Directors, and Program Directors to create marketing strategies that drive membership growth and program participation.
• Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and member communications across all YMCA locations.
• Develop marketing resources, templates, and best practices that support branch success.
• Monitor marketing performance and present key metrics and recommendations to Association leadership.
• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Marketing Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales and customer service, within the YMCA or equivalent professional experience as a manager/consultant of a sales territory in a related industry
• Certification requirements include CPR/AED, First Aid
• Education, experience and certifications – CPR/AED, First Aid.
• Skills And Abilities – With an understanding of the YMCA mission as well as the goals and objectives of the strategic plan, this person must be able to implement programs in accordance with YMCA of the USA standards.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and must be creative, motivated and a self-starter.
• Must be outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable and be able to form connected relationships with staff and members.
• Must be able to project enthusiasm to other staff and members.
• Must be able to work independently as well as with a staff team.
• Incumbent must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including being able to present to large groups.
• Must have computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office, outlook applications as well as skills in Core.
