Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Defines and drives the earned-first communications strategy, translating business and cultural insight into integrated ideas that shape how the brand shows up and wins in the market.
  • Leverages data, social intelligence, and performance signals to inform strategy, optimize in real time, and ensure measurable impact across communications efforts.
  • Serve as a core creative partner from idea inception, ensuring concepts are built for cultural relevance and earned amplification.
  • Collaborate with creative leaders, strategists, and makers to pressure‑test ideas and bring forward audience and media intelligence.
  • Provide a clear POV on what’s newsworthy, talkable, and coverage‑worthy, ensuring earned potential is embedded from the start.
  • Provide senior media relations leadership with strong relationships across top‑tier, lifestyle, business, tech, entertainment, and culture outlets.
  • Identify compelling angles, narrative frames, and storylines that resonate with journalists and cultural tastemakers.
  • Monitor cultural trends, platform behaviors, and editorial cycles to inform creative development and opportunity spotting.
  • Build strategic communication plans that connect creative ideas to business objectives and earned outcomes.
  • Advise clients on reputational opportunities and risks, ensuring messaging and creative ladder up to overarching goals.
