Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic guidance to the Medical Education leadership on events marketing and communications that align with department and system priorities.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of special events and marketing projects, including high profile student and faculty events, digital campaigns, website content, and creative production.
  • Manage the department brand attributes and values across digital platforms, ensuring consistent messaging with system guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop marketing collateral across digital, print, and video materials.
  • Conceptualize creative events including purpose, audience, pricing, themes, location, timeline, and run of show.
  • Coordinate digital marketing strategies to raise visibility and engagement, with campaign optimization based on results.
  • Plan and manage communications for Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Graduation, and Match Day to meet event objectives.
  • Serve as in-house liaison for departments, faculty, and students to deliver creative event solutions and support.
  • Stakeholder liaison: maintain day-to-day contact for events, communications, and marketing projects, aligning with broader initiatives.
  • Vendor and resource management to secure venues, design, video, and photography, with budget oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communications or related fields, preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, project management, or communications
  • Experience in higher education or non-profit marketing is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in event programming, management and production
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with digital marketing strategies, social media integration, and website content management.
  • Proven history of creating new and successful programs,
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail and quality control.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and manage relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
