Job Summary

Own FPSA marketing and design program across products, events, and member communications with a strong focus on multi-channel content, brand consistency, and data driven ROI.

  • Creative & Content Engine: Lead design, video, and print/digital collateral with accessibility and brand alignment.
  • Campaigns & Calendars: Plan and execute campaigns and annual calendars that drive event attendance, memberships, and engagement.
  • Analytics & Website: Track performance, optimize campaigns, and grow engagement and the member database using web analytics and reporting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead robust, fresh marketing and communication strategies for new and existing FPSA products, services, events, and initiatives — adapting quickly as the organization grows.
  • Assist in the creation, promotion, and dissemination of targeted membership messaging and promotional content; support member recruitment, renewal, and engagement campaigns.
  • In coordination with other teams, plan, design and execute marketing campaigns that drive event attendance and increase event revenue.
  • Create weekly and annual marketing calendars that drive engagement and promote the organization across all FPSA communication channels.
  • Write, design and edit multi-channel marketing content, including emails, social posts, paid advertising, videos and web copy.
  • As needed, design and/or update a full range of print and digital collateral, one-pagers, custom graphics, web banners, branding kits, event and membership marketing materials.
  • Format designs for brand compliance, accessibility, and usability with a consist look and feel.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet organizational goals.
  • Create visual concepts, using software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate members
  • Present designs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final product.

Requirements

  • 7 -10 years of experience in marketing, communications, and design
  • Experience in association, nonprofit, or membership-based organization preferred
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and Canva
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Constant Contact)
  • Proficiency with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, Snapchat) and social media management/scheduling tools
  • Website management and content management systems experience (HubSpot)
  • Video editing capabilities
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Project Management & Organization: Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines consistently without close supervision
  • Deadline Adherence: Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines and proactively communicating when adjustments are needed well in advance
  • Proactive Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to keep stakeholders informed of project status, challenges, and needs without prompting
  • Accountability & Ownership: Takes full ownership of responsibilities, acknowledges mistakes, and implements solutions independently
  • Receptiveness to Feedback: Ability to accept constructive criticism professionally and implement feedback effectively
  • Self-Direction: Functions effectively as a one-person department with minimal supervision while maintaining collaborative relationships
  • Attention to Detail: Maintains high standards for accuracy and quality across all deliverables

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals and member needs
