Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Director, Field Marketing localizes national programming to meet the needs of their local markets.
  • This role serves as the area expert for the Champagne & Sparkling brands and acts as a liaison between Commercial Sales and Brand Teams.
  • This role will work cross functionally to drive the strategy and priorities of the brands and commercial teams.
  • Rolls Out Brand Programming at the Regional Level & Creates Local Programming: Localizes and adapts brand programming to market/account needs/distributors
  • Manages brand programming activities, analyzes ROI to inform future activations, and develops local activity recaps
  • Identifies opportunities for assigned brands that fit in the assigned area
  • Partners with Brand Teams and Market Sales teams to generate innovative, high-impact local programming ideas to meet market needs. Inclusive of brand activation, local account opportunities, community connections, local influencers, etc.
  • Manages A&P budget: identifies gaps/ opportunities/ risks, determines ROI of programs, makes recommendations to the state/market lead for alignment
  • Liaises between Brand Teams and Sales Teams with the goals of driving both sales and brand equity
  • Is viewed by Sales Teams as a strong partner that helps meet the sales goals for the year (with long term brand building in mind) and viewed as a strong partner by Brand teams in championing the brand and executing within guidelines

Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.
  • Location: based in Texas or Florida
  • 10+ years trade marketing or creative marketing experience in wines and spirits, consumer packaged goods, or retail industries
  • Strong business/commercial strategy experience. Strong sales experience with strategic orientation or strong marketing experience with commercial orientation, field marketing, planning, communications and influencing skills.
  • Understanding and experience in working with luxury goods and events.
  • Strong commercial/analytical skills required
  • Deep knowledge of MHUSA portfolio, brand guidelines, & customer/consumer expectations
  • Highly refined organizational skills and experience managing a substantial number of projects and details
  • Ability to create meaningful partnerships with customers, distributor, and internal stakeholders
  • Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
