Job Summary

Drive end-to-end Creator & Brand Partnerships leadership to close deals, scale revenue, and build long-term client relationships.

  • Own end-to-end Creator & Brand Partnerships, from inbound to long-term retention.
  • Must-have: 8+ years in talent/creator partnerships with proven deal closures.
  • Standout: Leadership across design/creative teams and senior client leadership.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the Creator & Brand Partnerships division end-to-end — from bringing the right clients in the door to making sure they never want to leave..
  • Lead and close pitches for creator-led programming, retainer engagements, and brand partnerships — positioning Saylor as a long-term strategic partner.
  • Collaborate with accounts and new business to build Creator & Brand Partnerships into a standalone revenue driver, developing pricing, SOWs, and pipeline.
  • Identify brand partnership opportunities that extend and deepen client relationships beyond traditional campaign scopes.
  • Serve as the primary creative and design leader for the design team - representing the team in leadership conversations/meetings.
  • Mentor and coach designers at all levels, helping them grow both creatively and professionally.
  • Establish clear expectations, feedback loops, and growth paths for designers.
  • Partner with People Operations and leadership on performance reviews, promotions, hiring needs, and team development.
  • Foster a design culture rooted in craft, curiosity, inclusivity, and collaboration.
  • Serve as the senior strategic voice on all creator-led client work — translating brand objectives into programming strategies that earn attention the way entertainment does.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience across talent representation, creator partnerships, brand partnerships, or influencer marketing — with meaningful time in a talent agency or creator management context.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing retainer or partnership deals — not just executing campaigns, but building ongoing commercial relationships.
  • Experience managing a team and building scalable processes, not just running plays.
  • Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube creator ecosystems — how talent is priced, developed, and contracted.
  • Strong existing relationships with creators, agents, or management companies across entertainment, lifestyle, or adjacent categories.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills; you can walk into a senior client meeting and own the room.
  • Comfort at the intersection of creative strategy and business development — you think in terms of margin and retention, not just impressions and deliverables.

Nice To Have

  • Pre-existing creator relationships
  • Experience with revenue generation mandate

Benefits

  • We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, 401k, generous vacation, and great opportunities for growth within the company.

Compensation

  • This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $140,000-$160,000, depending on experience, with a bonus target based on revenue goals.

About Saylor

Saylor is an entertainment-led creative agency with teams in Los Angeles and New York City. Founded by former entertainment executives, we set sail in 2021 to build an independent agency that rethinks how brands communicate with today’s audiences.

We believe every brand is an entertainment brand. That is why we craft ideas that move with culture, creating work that earns attention, sparks connection, and builds fandoms that last. Our clients include Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Hilton, Anthropologie, and more.

We’re a tight‑knit crew of creatives, strategists, and makers who collaborate without ego, stay curious, and always show up for one another. We foster a supportive space where diverse perspectives are celebrated, hierarchy never blocks great ideas, and everyone is empowered to jump in, solve problems, and push creative boundaries together.

Position Overview: Saylor is evolving — and we’re looking for the leader who can take our creator and brand partnerships practice to its next level. We’ve built real momentum with entertainment and lifestyle brands, and we have a clear vision for where the business goes from here: deeper creator relationships, more sophisticated programming, and a model that benefits creators, clients, and the agency alike.

This is not a talent booker role. It is not a community manager role. This is a business-building leadership position for someone who understands that strong, pre-existing creator relationships are a structural commercial advantage — and who knows how to build and monetize them at an agency level.

You will lead the Creator & Brand Partnerships division: managing a growing team, owning the go-forward strategy, closing deals, and building the creator relationships that differentiate Saylor in a crowded and fast-moving market.

Location and Salary: This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $140,000-$160,000, depending on experience, with a bonus target based on revenue goals. This person must be LA-based and available to come into the Saylor office in Echo Park on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
