  • Lead the development of premium content, custom publisher partnerships, social-first storytelling and other content formats that drive meaningful audience engagement.
  • Maintain a strong pulse on emerging formats, publisher offerings, creator ecosystems, platform innovation, and cultural trends to identify opportunities for L’Oréal Groupe to lead—not follow—the conversation.
  • Build and manage a strategic ecosystem of media, publishing, platform, creator, and content-production partners that can help L’Oréal Groupe tell its stories with scale, credibility, and cultural relevance.
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for key external partners, representing L’Oréal with polish, sound judgment and a clear point of view.
  • Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities based on strategic fit, audience quality, brand safety, creative potential, measurement capability, and anticipated return on investment.
  • Act as a central connector across internal teams to align corporate story development, communications priorities, content strategy, and paid amplification.
  • Work in close proximity to other members of the Corporate Affairs & Engagement team to ensure our content efforts support other internal priorities.

Requirements

  • Experience within beauty, luxury, consumer goods, media, technology, or other highly visible consumer-facing industries is preferred.
  • Corporate Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to identify compelling stories within complex organizations and transform them into clear, engaging narratives for external audiences.
  • Media & Partnership Expertise: Deep understanding of the US media landscape, including premium publishers, digital platforms, social ecosystems, creator partnerships, branded-content models, and emerging content formats.
  • Paid Content Fluency: Experience developing and managing paid content programs and integrated media partnerships, with a clear understanding of how to balance creative ambition, audience relevance, brand safety, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect corporate positioning and business priorities to audience insight, cultural context, and channel strategy.
  • Creative Judgment: Excellent editorial instincts and a sharp eye for what will make a story timely, credible, differentiated, and worth people’s attention.
  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to simplify complex information and communicate a clear, compelling point of view.
  • Organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple high-visibility initiatives, stakeholders, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Experience working with or within premium publishers, media companies, creative agencies, media agencies, or brand studios.
  • Experience developing executive thought-leadership content or corporate storytelling platforms.
  • Familiarity with topics including sustainability, science and innovation, social impact, purpose-led business, inclusive beauty, and corporate reputation.
  • Experience overseeing branded content productions, from briefing and concept development through approvals, launch, optimization, and reporting.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing scopes of work, partnership agreements, and vendor relationships.
