Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the company-wide content strategy across campaigns, lifecycle stages, and vertical markets
  • Translate business priorities into editorial themes, content roadmaps, and storytelling frameworks
  • Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and brand narrative across channels
  • Design and operate a scalable editorial model, including decisions on in-house vs. outsourced work.
  • Communicate tradeoffs, priorities, and performance clearly to executive stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a high-impact team through clear roles, strong coaching, and thoughtful use of external partners and modern writing tools and platforms
  • Act as a player-coach—providing strategic direction while rolling up sleeves as needed.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability
  • Partner with key stakeholders to drive the company narrative, POV, and thought leadership agenda.
  • Partner with executives on authored content, speeches, and social presence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in content, editorial leadership, or communications, with a proven record of driving business impact.
  • Experience leading lean teams and scaling content through strong systems and prioritization.
  • Strong working knowledge of editorial processes, SEO/AEO, analytics, and content management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to link content strategy to revenue, pipeline, or measurable brand outcomes.

Preferred

  • Background in PR, marketing, or communications agencies strongly preferred.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS/software preferred; Healthcare, Financial Services, and/or Higher Education industry vertical experience is a plus.
