Own and drive the brand strategy and external communications programs, oversee cross-functional content creation and governance, and mentor a small content team to execute top-of-funnel campaigns while tracking brand KPIs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with company vision, business objectives, and target audiences
  • Lead and manage all external communications, including PR, thought leadership, and advertising
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content across channels — digital, social, and print — for each line of business
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, sales, center of excellence, customer success, and internal communications to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment
  • Manage and mentor a team of 3 content creator professionals to execute top of funnel campaigns
  • Define and track KPIs to measure brand awareness, perception, and communications effectiveness
  • Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring tone, voice, and visual identity standards are upheld across the organization
  • Work closely with creative and field marketing to align corporate messaging in the value proposition for each line of business

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing communications, or corporate communications
  • Proven track record of building and scaling brands, ideally in telecommunications, technology, and/or public safety industries
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and budgets
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
