Job Summary

You will own Eurest’s corporate communications, shaping brand reputation, media relations, executive messaging, social channels, and crisis response while aligning internal and external strategies with the CEO and partners across the organization.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manages company brand and reputation -- elevates Company reputation and visibility in the marketplace
  • Develops, implements and manages a comprehensive internal and external communication strategy
  • Interfaces with CEO on strategic and regular messaging both internally and externally including monthly communications, town hall formats and new ideas
  • Directs public relations agency in implementing media and public relations strategy
  • Drives corporate messaging strategy including development and implementation
  • Directs social media strategy and new modes of communication and engagement
  • Liaises and coordinates content and spokespeople with operations, strategic partners and clients
  • Provides communication counsel to senior management
  • Develops rich and creative content
  • Directs first-level crisis communication with associates, clients and media

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to interact with associates at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with a major in public relations, communications or journalism
  • Seven or more years of professional corporate communications/ public relations experience required
  • A strategic thinker
  • Previous management experience ideal
  • Foodservice or education industry experience a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Broad knowledge of social media
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
