Job Summary

Own the day-to-day production of digital content across email, social, and web in a Salesforce-enabled marketing stack, ensuring on-brand, accessible, data-informed storytelling for Maine audiences.

  • Content Ownership: Manage end-to-end content across channels to support campaign priorities and marketing goals.
  • Quality & Accessibility: Steward tone, accessibility, and consistency in collaboration with Campaign Officers and Digital Marketing Specialists.
  • Execution & Compliance: Turn approved messaging into clear content within governed workflows and brand standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develops, creates, prepares and is responsible for the day-to-day management of FAME’s digital content across email, social media, and web channels.
  • Turns approved messaging, campaign priorities, and program information into clear, accessible, and engaging content that supports marketing goals and serves Maine audiences effectively.
  • Works within a modern, Salesforce-enabled marketing environment to ensure content is accurate, effective, and on brand.
  • Serves as a key steward of content quality, tone, and accessibility, partnering closely with Marketing Campaign Officers and Digital Marketing Specialists to support integrated, data-informed marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of professional digital content experience.
  • Strong editorial judgment, comfort working within structured systems and workflows, and a collaborative mindset focused on clarity, trust, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience creating content for email and social channels.
  • Familiarity with content management and digital publishing tools.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work within structured workflows, approvals, and governed systems.

Preferred

  • Experience in photography, videography, video editing, and graphic design
  • Experience in public-sector, education, financial services, or mission-driven organizations
  • Familiarity with marketing automation environments from a content execution perspective
