Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Club website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media outlets daily.
  • Develop and coordinate the Club’s publicity efforts, maintaining focus on brand recognition and values.
  • Coordinate with writers, editors, and others who assist with the Club’s newsletter.
  • Write, compose, and edit all Club newsletter articles, mass emails and calendars.
  • Collect, organize, and submit all copies for production on a timely basis.
  • Proof all content for corrections and changes; Responsible for cover designs as well as page layout and format.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager, Membership Sales, and Director of Operations and F&B to write clear, concise, and engaging articles that align with the Club’s tone and message.
  • Establish and create print materials for all aspects of the Club, menus, and in-house signage.
  • Oversee all direct mailings, including composition, design, and printing.
  • Oversee the taking and editing of photos and video content at Club events/activities and that they are appropriately filed in shared location by event.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred, with concentration in English, Communications, and or Graphic design.
  • Minimum of three years of website content management experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with English grammar and possesses skills in news-style writing, feature writing, copy writing, proofreading and editing required.
  • Demonstrated experience with computer graphics software, including Canva, In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Vimeo and Microsoft Publisher.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and databased programs.
  • Ability to manage stress and time required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and social communication and listening skills.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations required.
  • Ability to work a varying schedule based on the Clubs’ needs required. This schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

  • NorthStar experience is a plus.
