  • Own the creative strategy, briefs, and weekly reviews across 4–6 sports accounts to align performance data with client goals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own creative strategy for a book of 4–6 sports brand and team accounts, deciding what creative to make next based on performance data, briefing the contractors and influencers who make it, and acting as the creative voice the client hears every week.
  • Day-to-day tasks include analyzing paid social, organic, and AVI attribution data to identify what's working; building rolling creative roadmaps per account; writing briefs for the contractor and influencer network; cutting and finishing content in CapCut and the Adobe Suite when speed demands it; running weekly creative reviews with clients; and acting as the connective tissue between client requests, performance data, content creators, and Athletiverse leadership.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years as a Creative Strategist, Performance Creative Lead, or Senior Content Strategist at a DTC/performance agency, UGC shop, or in-house growth team
  • Proficiency in performance creative metrics: hook rate, thumb-stop ratio, hold rate, CTR, CPA, and creative fatigue
  • Hands-on production experience in CapCut and the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Express)
  • AI-native workflow — comfort using Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini for ideation, scripting, and analysis
  • Experience briefing and managing creator/contractor networks, not just managing projects
  • Excellent writing skills — briefs that get the creative back right the first time, and client communication that builds trust with CMOs and creators alike
  • Taste, defended by data — opinionated about creative, humble enough to let the numbers correct you
  • Comfortable working with international contractor pools across time zones; clear async communicator
  • Experience with sports content or willingness to learn the space fast
