Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This position serves as the Marketing team supervisor, overseeing a team of six (6) professionals.
  • As the unit manager for the Marketing team, this position is responsible for assigned program activities under the section’s marketing, branding, graphic design, and publications staff.
  • This position is also responsible for the guidance and direction of a dynamic team, ensuring the production of timely and engaging content is implemented through an omni-channel approach.
  • This unit manager and staff help CPW achieve its strategic priorities through developing campaigns that follow the CPW Strategic plan and generate revenue and raise awareness of agency products and programs.
  • This position is responsible for tracking SMART goals and advising the section manager of campaign results.
  • Supervision elements of this position include: Coaching and mentoring a high-functioning team.
  • Assessing and planning assignments and applying appropriate metrics of success
  • Providing the framework for individual performance plans, identifying project-specific and annual goals and regularly working with individuals to review and refine approaches to achieving these goals.
  • This position recommends, plans, develops, and executes comprehensive strategic marketing campaigns, determining the most cost-effective programs and marketing strategies to reach youth, families, sportspersons and other target audiences to advance CPW's mission.
  • The position manages the agency’s existing brand standards and represents CPW as a trusted marketing partner to outside non-profit organizations and/or other state agencies.
