Job Summary

Own the messaging craft across product, clinical education, and internal communications, ensuring brand voice and tone are consistent while juggling multiple cross-functional projects and tight deadlines.

  • Own product and procedural messaging for websites, collateral, trade shows, and campaigns, plus video and other channels.
  • Refine clinical education materials and instructional content to ensure clarity for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate across teams to map channels and audiences, delivering concise content that aligns with brand standards and internal guidelines.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and editing product and procedural messaging for websites, collateral, trade shows, advertising campaigns, videos, and other communications channels.
  • Proofread and refine clinical education materials, including course presentations, procedural guides and instructional videos.
  • Support internal stakeholders with the creation of audience-focused materials and the use of effective communications channels.
  • Ensure all communications align with Applied Medical’s voice and tone, brand standards, and internal style guidelines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of communication processes and workflows.
  • Deliver clear, concise and effective messaging that supports internal and external communication initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to understand communication needs and deliver impactful content.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining accuracy, consistency and attention to detail.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Applied Medical’s products and the types of surgery they are used in.
  • Contribute to brand consistency and message alignment across various communication channels and audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in corporate communications or a related field
  • Exceptional editing and copywriting skills
  • Deep understanding of proper grammar and familiarity with Associated Press (AP) style
  • Aptitude for asking questions to distill complex concepts into clear and effective messaging for various audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced, collaborative environment with multiple levels of project input and approval
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback and editing guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Professionalism and a flexible, solution-oriented mindset

Preferred

  • Experience supporting communications within healthcare, medical device or clinical environments.
