Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with executive leaders and their teams to identify the issues, moments, and perspectives that matter most-for them personally and for Uber's business.
  • Devise tailored platform and channel strategies that harness each leader's unique voice, setting them up for even greater impact.
  • Define success metrics, create reporting cadences, and iterate based on performance and broader objectives.
  • Support real-time social decision-making during fast-moving news moments, including escalation pathways and coordination with policy/legal when needed.
  • Shoot, edit, and create original content (both videos and graphics).
  • Attend events and help capture content during key company moments.
  • Provide broader executive communications support as needed, including presentation development, speechwriting, and other high-impact writing across the team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven experience in a fast-paced corporate, agency, or political environment, supporting notable personalities or world-changing brands.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • ImpeCCable writing and editing skills, with strong judgment, a high bar for quality, and the ability to seamlessly switch between thought leadership, product narratives, culture/talent storytelling, and stakeholder comms-without losing authenticity.
  • Creativity and strong visual instincts, with comfort translating ideas into compelling, platform-native content.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while staying focused on long-term goals.
  • Proven experience building relationships and influencing cross-functionally, particularly with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of news cycles, reputation management, and emerging trends in social and new media.

Preferred

  • Managed candidate social media for a major political campaign.
  • You are an outstanding video shooter and editor with an eye for graphic design, proficient in Adobe Premiere or CapCut for video editing, and Canva or Photoshop for graphic creation.
