Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of multi‑channel communications aligned with key business milestones, including internal announcements, company presentations, social media content, and press materials.
  • Assist with drafting, editing, and formatting content in accordance with brand guidelines, tone, and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of internal events, such as town halls and workshops, by supporting content development, speaker preparation, and logistics.
  • Provide project coordination support for conference participation, including maintaining tracking documents and assisting with vendor communications and contract documentation.
  • Assist with managing communication channels and tools, including email distribution, intranet platforms, collaboration tools, social media, media monitoring tools, and content calendars.
  • Lead or support special projects and initiatives as assigned, balancing multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and select strategic discussions to gain exposure to business operations and contribute ideas where appropriate.
  • Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing internship contributions, key projects, and learning outcomes.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and alignment with company values in all work and interactions.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to align with brand voice.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams is a plus.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to assess information and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, well‑organized work.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.

Preferred

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
  • Interest in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is preferred.
  • Experience supporting projects, calendars, or events in an academic, volunteer, or professional setting is preferred.
