Job Summary

Support learning how professional copywriters shape messages across campaigns and channels, with structured critique, portfolio-building tasks, and hands-on drafting under supervision.

  • Structured learning: supervised workshops and critique sessions guiding writing across campaigns, websites, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Editorial refinement: observe and contribute to writing, revisions, and feedback while professional staff retain client deliverables and approvals.
  • Portfolio development: opportunities for additional writing exercises and asynchronous work to sharpen craft and produce sample materials.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This internship is designed first and foremost as a supervised educational experience.
  • Participation is structured around supervised educational workshops and collaborative critique sessions.
  • Interns may also choose to complete additional writing exercises, revisions, or portfolio development work asynchronously.
  • Interns are introduced to the role language plays across campaigns, websites, social media, public-facing materials, and commercial concepts.
  • Intern work is reviewed by professional copywriters, and interns participate in writing, revision, discussion, critique, and editorial refinement.
  • Interns may observe or contribute to supervised educational exercises.
  • Professional staff retain responsibility for all client deliverables and approvals.
  • Copywriters work alongside design, strategy, public relations, marketing, social media, web development, and commercial production.
