E.A. Weinstein founded Shelley Whitman Associates in response to the challenges facing academics, artists, and small businesses during the pandemic. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in higher education, he envisioned an agency where humanities scholars, award-winning filmmakers, and creative professionals could collaborate with designers, developers, and business strategists to build a creative commons—an agency where ethics and imagination meet to help clients shape a better future.Inspired by the ideals of Percy Shelley and Walt Whitman, the agency is driven by a belief in care, clarity, and community—helping overlooked people and ideas thrive. What began as a small collective is now one of the fastest-growing creative firms in the Mid-Atlantic, with four offices in three countries serving clients around the globe.Shelley Whitman Associates builds campaigns with purpose—combining ads, 2D animation, branding, PR, academic media, and digital strategy. We work with non-profits, startups, and national brands to produce video, manage media, and design websites blending UX, research, and imagination. Drawing from art, scholarship, and storytelling, we craft work that’s principled, resonant, and built to last.
