Job Summary

Own multimedia operations and content delivery across platforms, from team leadership and asset management to cross-unit strategy execution.

  • Manage a multimedia team and training program to deliver on marketing and communications across websites, social, and events.
  • Oversee asset workflows, DAM system governance, and platform-level content operations to hit deadlines and quality standards.
  • Translate the work unit strategy into multimedia content and campaigns that support stakeholders and drive engagement across channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and student multimedia team
  • Manage updates and licensing for any multimedia-related hardware and software
  • Administers a digital asset management system
  • Develops communication, event, and marketing strategies and materials to align with the overall work unit strategic initiative
  • Directs operational activities for multiple communication platforms and posts content within a work unit that may include websites, social media, written/illustrative communications, and online tools
  • Tracks and manages timelines and deliverables related to communication projects
  • Contributes to the development of communication, event, and marketing materials to fit into the overall strategy of the work unit
  • Conceptualizes, plans, designs, and executes multimedia solutions for a specific work unit that may be used through various platforms in collaboration with stakeholders and other content creation staff
  • Develops and facilitates trainings for staff and customers regarding technology options and best practices

Requirements

  • At least two years of professional photography and video experience in an agency, business, or educational setting.
  • Advanced design skills and a strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, originality, and results-driven marketing or advertising projects.
  • Must be able to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace, and have strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute creative concepts that communicate ideas clearly and engage audiences effectively.
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively on complex projects, handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a detail-oriented environment.
  • Associate’s Degree, preferably in Art, Design, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field

Preferred

  • Experience supervising student employees or interns.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Art, Design, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
