Job Summary

Own and coordinate a broad communications and engagement program that links campaigns, content, digital channels, and stakeholder partnerships to raise Mater’s profile and trust.

  • Campaigns and content: develop and deliver campaigns that promote services, research, education and community impact.
  • Digital presence and advisory: manage website, intranet and digital platforms while advising leaders and coordinating events that boost engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver marketing, communication and engagement campaigns.
  • Create engaging content that promotes Mater’s services, research, education and community impact.
  • Manage website and intranet content.
  • Act as the first point of contact for communications and engagement enquiries.
  • Coordinate projects, events and campaigns that build brand reputation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide communications advice and support to leaders and stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance and engagement outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships across Mater and with external partners.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in marketing and communications.
  • At least five years’ experience in a communications or marketing role.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering successful communication and marketing strategies.
  • Strong content creation, storytelling and digital communications skills.
  • Experience managing websites, social media and digital platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, organisational and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
