  • Research trends, hooks, and formats for TikTok/IG Reels/YouTube Shorts to drive performance.
  • Turn features into creator-ready briefs, shot lists, and editor notes to guide execution.
  • Coordinate planning to final delivery, review drafts, and push revisions across editors and platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research short-form video trends, viral formats, hooks, UGC styles, creator formats, and paid social ad examples.
  • Develop video ideas, content angles, hooks, simple scripts, shot directions, and creative references based on product features and campaign goals.
  • Turn product selling points into clear video briefs, creator instructions, shot lists, and editor notes.
  • Help decide which video formats may work best for each project, such as UGC videos, product demos, testimonials, comparison videos, before/after videos, problem-solution videos, routine videos, or trend-based content.
  • Coordinate video projects from planning to final delivery, including shoot prep, raw footage, editing timelines, feedback rounds, revisions, and final files.
  • Review video drafts and provide clear feedback on hook, pacing, structure, subtitles, product messaging, CTA, visual flow, and platform fit.
  • Assist with simple edits, rough cuts, captions, cutdowns, or minor revisions when needed.
  • Organize video assets, raw footage, references, Google Drive folders, client materials, and final deliverables.
  • Follow up with editors, creators, models, videographers, and internal team members to keep projects on schedule.
  • Support content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta ads, influencer campaigns, UGC videos, and DTC brand projects.

Requirements

  • Experience with short-form video, UGC content, paid social ads, influencer content, branded content, e-commerce videos, or DTC product videos.
  • Strong understanding of what is currently trending and performing well on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and paid social platforms.
  • Ability to explain why a video works or does not work based on hook, pacing, content angle, retention, audience interest, and conversion potential.
  • Basic hands-on editing experience with Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar tools.
  • Ability to create or support content briefs, scripts, shot lists, creator notes, and editor feedback.
  • Strong organization and follow-up skills. This role involves timelines, assets, revisions, files, and delivery details.
  • Comfortable communicating with editors, creators, production teams, and internal marketing/project teams.
  • Experience with DTC brands, e-commerce products, TikTok Shop, Meta ads, influencer campaigns, or performance marketing content is a plus.

Preferred

  • Actively follow short-form video trends and understand why certain videos get views.
  • Can turn a product feature into a clear hook, angle, or short-form video idea.
  • Can review a video draft and give specific feedback instead of only saying “make it better.”
  • Can help organize shoots, assets, editing timelines, revisions, and final deliverables.
  • Can make basic edits or rough cuts when needed.
  • Care about both content quality and performance data.
