Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Crux’s capital solutions teams to develop deep audience expertise and guide the content strategy for capital providers (e.g., corporate finance teams, financial institutions, private credit funds, tax advisors).
  • Create compelling content across formats — case studies, newsletters, blog posts, sales one-pagers, infographics, whitepapers, and videos — tailored to an audience of capital providers.
  • Execute content strategies that boost SEO and AEO performance and drive desired actions across sales and partnerships channels.
  • Develop sales enablement materials that help commercial teams engage and convert sophisticated finance and investment audiences.
  • Actively experiment with AI tools across content workflows and contribute to the team’s shared learning about AI utilization.
  • Help shape a long-term content calendar aligned with business goals while managing shifting priorities.
  • Collaborate with design teams to produce videos, infographics, and other multimedia assets for distribution across channels.
  • Ensure consistency with key messaging and brand guidelines across all content types, maintaining Crux’s high standard of quality.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in content, communications, and/or marketing in corporate finance, fintech, or clean energy project finance.
  • Fluency in the language of institutional finance: tax credits, tax equity, structured debt, capital markets, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional writing skills to make complex financial and technical topics accessible and engaging across a wide range of formats, from executive thought leadership to SEO blog posts to sales collateral.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and a track record of experimenting with tools to improve your work.
  • Strong organizational skills to execute content effectively while managing competing priorities.
  • An eye for detail and strong instincts around written and visual communication.
  • A collaborative mindset with comfort working autonomously across cross-functional teams.
  • Excitement about accelerating the clean economy.

Benefits

  • Remote-first operating model: Work from anywhere in the US and Canada, or work out of our optional offices in DC (open) and NYC (open). Optional co-working opportunities with co-workers in Bay Area, Seattle, Denver, Boston, LA, and beyond.
  • High growth & high ownership culture: We grow quickly by giving extremely talented people a lot of responsibility.
  • Regular team offsites: We sustain culture by bringing the entire company together 3 times a year. Individual teams may also meet up more frequently.
  • Healthcare: We cover 100% of premiums for employees with a variety of plans on Aetna (nationwide) and Kaiser (WA and California) and subsidize 70% for dependents (total as a group), if relevant.
  • Dental & vision: We cover 100% of premiums for employees and 50% for dependents (each), if relevant.
  • Holidays: 10 company holidays per year.
  • Paid time off: 20 days per year.
  • 401k: We support a 401k account but don’t have a matching program set up at this time (typical for an early-stage startup).
  • Parental leave: 16 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents.
