Job Summary

Own short-form video creation and channel identity for a creator-led channel, focusing on on-camera storytelling, retention hooks, and monthly output targets.

Content Production: Create and appear in quick, story-driven videos and establish tone, format, and identity for a new channel.
On-Camera Performance: Bring strong personality and energy, filming remotely with product samples and independent content creation.
Channel Strategy: Collaborate on creative direction, audience engagement, and optimization for YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok style formats with a creator-first mindset.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Creating and appearing in short-form videos for the brand
Developing entertaining, narrative-based short-form concepts
Filming engaging content remotely using product samples provided by the client
Bringing strong personality, energy, and creativity on camera
Collaborating with the brand/team on creative direction and feedback
Helping establish the tone, format, and identity of a new content channel
Consistently meeting agreed monthly video output targets

Requirements

Strong short-form content experience
Confidence and personality on camera
Experience creating YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and/or TikTok-style vertical content
A strong understanding of retention, hooks, pacing, and storytelling
The ability to make toy/product content feel exciting, funny, and engaging
Experience filming remotely and working independently
A creator-first mindset, not just a traditional acting or UGC background
An understanding of YouTube-style entertainment content and high-energy creator formats
Output: Minimum 5 short-form videos per month for part-time talent

Preferred

Preference: On-camera talent preferred for this specific channel direction
Bonus if you have experience creating content inspired by creators like Preston, Unspeakable, Airrack, or similar family-friendly entertainment channels.
