Job Summary

Own and update the digital footprint of the Cornell AI Initiative, ensuring priorities drive consistent promotion and cross-channel alignment for research, events, and faculty expertise.

Content stewardship: Maintain ai.cornell.edu and initiative pages, keep expert profiles current, and coordinate promotions across initiative digital channels.
Amplification strategy: Lead cross-platform outreach to raise awareness of research, events, and faculty expertise.
Performance analytics: Track metrics across platforms, newsletters, and campaigns, turning data into content and channel optimizations.

Responsibilities

Content stewardship: Maintain ai.cornell.edu and initiative pages, keep expert profiles current, and coordinate promotions across initiative digital channels.
Amplification strategy: Lead cross-platform outreach to raise awareness of research, events, and faculty expertise.
Performance analytics: Track metrics across platforms, newsletters, and campaigns, turning data into content and channel optimizations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years of full-time work experience in strategic communications, preferably in higher education, research, or technology.
Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated creativity and ability to handle multiple projects while meeting concurrent deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain strong and collaborative working relationships with key constituencies.
Creative problem solving and the ability to network and build positive relationships with a wide variety of individuals within the College and University.
Knowledge of AP style writing and editing.
Experience with Drupal and WordPress.
