Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Drive communications support for product launches, strategic announcements, and thought leadership programs
  • Build media relationships and pitch stories that advance Amazon's narrative in top technology publications
  • Write media materials, talking points, and briefing documents that make complex chip technology accessible to any audience
  • Work across Amazon and AWS communications teams to keep messaging aligned and amplify our story across channels
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify trends, measure impact, and sharpen our strategy

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred

  • Strong writing skills with ability to simplify technical concepts for general audiences
  • Experience working with engineering or product teams
  • Track record pitching and securing coverage in technology publications
  • Comfort working under tight deadlines with shifting priorities
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Interest in AI, cloud computing, or semiconductors
