Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication plans for events and ministries
  • Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all channels
  • Monitor engagement and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Promote parish events, liturgies, and programs
  • Coordinate communication timelines and materials for campaigns
  • Assist with event planning and execution when needed
  • Serve as a liaison between parish staff, ministries, and the community
  • Support communication between the parish and the diocese
  • Handle public inquiries and assist with media relations if required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in social media and website management
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools)
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
