Responsibilities

• Communication
• Advertise events/activities on church social media platforms weekly or as needed.
• Coordinate with worship leaders, speakers, and musicians each week to gather and organize information for the Sunday worship bulletin and e-newsletter.
• Create and publish the weekly E-Newsletter and Sunday worship bulletins.
• Manage the communications calendar, secure and edit content from volunteers and staff.
• Maintain accurate newsletter mailing lists.
• Facilitate mailing of weekly hard-copy sermons to shut-ins and those without digital access.
• Coordinate announcements with online worship staff for worship slides, newsletters, and e-blasts.
• Participate in meetings related to education, outreach, and community engagement as needed to support coordination and communication.
• Marketing

Requirements

• Experience in communications, marketing, media, or related field preferred.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Experience with creating graphics.
• Willingness and ability to learn new software programs.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn Fellowship One Go Church Management software.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn MailChimp for mass mailings.
• Proficient in writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional demeanor, and appropriate boundaries.
• Familiarity with church, nonprofit, or ministry communications.
