Job Description

Responsibilities - Manage Modivcare's external communications function including media relations, press materials, social media, and evergreen PR content for the corporate brand. - Serve as primary point of contact for media inquiries and proactively pitch stories and executive perspectives to healthcare, business, and trade press. - Develop and maintain relationships with journalists and reporters covering healthcare services and Medicaid managed care. - Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media statements, op-eds, and letters to the editor with brand voice and legal review. - Own the corporate library of evergreen PR content including biographies, fact sheets, boilerplate language, and talking points. - Create corporate social media strategy and content calendar with alignment to external priorities and audience engagement. - Develop strategy and supporting materials for tradeshows; monitor media landscape for coverage and sentiment; escalate issues as needed. - Prepare speaking opportunity materials including speaker abstracts and award submissions. - Collaborate with internal communications to align external messaging with employee communications during major announcements or reputational events. - Collaborate with marketing communications and government/public affairs on external channel content to ensure consistency across PR and brand content. - Measure and report on earned media performance, social engagement, and external channel effectiveness. - Support crisis and incident response communications with draft statements and timely distribution of materials. - Lead projects and perform other duties as assigned; occasional travel may be required.
