Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Scale Microsoft priorities globally with ‘surround sound’ approach: Understand Microsoft business priorities, news and key commercial audiences for news beats; apply market insights to advise and orchestrate media strategy.
  • Apply a “surround sound” strategy to meet audiences on the platforms, news outlets and channels that they engage in, informed by data and market insights.
  • Use AI and reporting tools to inform strategy and measure results.
  • Develop curated campaigns and experiences for impact: Help Microsoft’s commercial and consumer priorities land with relevance in market by creating durable assets (messaging, demo scripts, spokesperson training materials, etc.) that markets can easily adopt and localize.
  • Help curate campus visits and experiences to land agenda-setting stories and creator content.
  • Host media and creators representing Microsoft values and views.
  • Team collaborator with excellent stakeholder and executive engagement: Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture, effectively working across time zones.
  • Help land successful international media stories and creator engagement with effective prep and counsel for HQ spokespeople.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR equivalent experience.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance or related field AND 5+ years communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience working internationally and/or as part of a global team.
  • 4+ years of experience in public relations, multi-media storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
