Job Summary

Own and coordinate media operations and Communications support for match days and non-match days, including credentialing, on-site logistics, post-game media assets, and club storytelling. Lead media communications workflow under the guidance of the Communications Coordinator and support rapid, accurate messaging across events.

Responsibilities

  • Media Operations:
  • Assist with media RSVPs for home matches, training sessions, and club events
  • Coordinate and assist with approval of media credentials
  • Distribute, track, and collect media bibs
  • Match Day Responsibilities:
  • Support the Communications Coordinator, who serves as the main point of contact for credentialed media, by communicating updates regarding media arrivals, requests, and matchday needs
  • Distribute and track media credentials on match days
  • Assist with the setup of on-site media accommodations and operational logistics
  • Capture and organize post-match press conference video assets
  • Assist with compiling photo assets and broadcast highlights of key moments for use in postgame press release media drives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Sports Management, or related field preferred
  • Strong interest in sports communications, media relations, and professional soccer
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and match days
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with media, players, league officials, and club staff
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, live-event environment
