Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design printed and electronic materials for a wide variety of programs and needs.
  • This includes creating original artwork for merchandise, logos, etc., updating and maintaining web pages and marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, posters, rack cards, and assisting with organizing, promoting and executing outreach events and programs.
  • Assist in social media campaigns and development of engaging stories and content for the Engineering, Applied Science and Technology (EAST) College.

Requirements

  • Twenty four credit hours of university coursework successfully completed.
  • Coursework and/or experience and skills associated with design in printed and electronic materials.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Excellent communications skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Background check is required.

Preferred

  • Prefer outgoing, friendly person able to effectively and positively work with a wide variety of people of all ages to promote the College of Engineering, Applied Science & Technology and its programs.
  • Must be able to work on a team to organize campaigns or events.
  • Willingness to gain new skills and knowledge in design, web site management and marketing is essential.
