Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization’s external communication strategy
• Draft and distribute press releases
• Build relationships with media outlets
• Manage public relations initiatives
• Develop and implement strategic communication plans to convey the organization’s mission and goals
• Act as the key point of contact for media inquiries
• Ensure consistent messaging across platforms

Requirements

• YOU MUST BE A CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT
• Must have experience or expertise in writing and distributing press releases
• Proven skills in communication and strategic communications to manage messaging and communications strategies
• Experience in media relations and public relations to build and maintain relationships with media outlets and stakeholders
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple communication projects
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with political communication, especially in the conservative space, is a plus
