The Communications Coordinator will own the parish communications portfolio, combining content strategy, website and social media management, newsletter production, and event livestream coordination. You will lead content creation, collaborate with clergy and ministry leaders, and deliver timely, faith-filled messaging while juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid understanding of communications, marketing, branding, and digital engagement principles.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate proficiency with website management content management systems, Canva (or similar design software), and social media platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with clergy, staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders.

Preferred

  • Church or non-profit
  • Practicing Roman Catholic
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Flocknote, or other similar systems preferred.
  • Photography, videography, and basic video editing experience.
  • Familiarity with livestream technology and digital media production.
  • Knowledge of parish life, Catholic liturgy, and liturgical calendar.
