Job Summary

Own and execute programmatic marketing and organizational communications across multiple channels, manage a digital asset library, support branding and fundraising efforts, and collaborate with the Development and Communications Director to optimize reach and engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Responsible for storytelling related to organizational programming including education & engagement, stream restoration, working lands, and urban waters initiatives. Storytelling will include, but not be limited to, social media content creation, blog posts, press releases and advisories, website content, and email newsletters.
  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Execute the organization’s external communications including monthly email newsletters, social media, press releases, and advertisements.
  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Execute individual programs’ communications plans, including the review of program newsletters, blog posts, monthly check-ins, and promotional campaigns.
  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Execute end-to-end photo and video documentation of Cumberland River Compact projects.
  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Manage and maintain the Compact’s digital library of photo and video assets.
  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Execute graphic design requests from staff in accordance with the Compact’s brand standards. Maintain the Compact’s library of Canva brand templates and review templated projects created by program staff.
  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Act as the primary point of contact with print vendors to assist program staff with ordering promotional and outreach materials.
  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Manage general communications requests and questions from staff and external sources.
  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Work with the Development and Communications Director to prioritize program marketing.
  • Programmatic Marketing and Communications 55% - Track analytics for digital program communications including social media, webpages, and marketing emails to help program staff meet engagement deliverables.

Requirements

  • Excellent writing and editing abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts.
  • Strong photography skills.
  • Ability to utilize organization’s brand standards in marketing and communications projects.
  • Excellence in Google Workspace, Canva, and social media platforms. Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Quick learner on software platforms including Wordpress, Emma, and Bloomerang.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Must be a team player and also be able to work independently.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks, assignments, and priorities.
  • Interest in the environment is a plus.
