Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and schedule content for social media platforms
  • Capture photos and video at events, project sites, and community meetings
  • Edit videos for social media, website, and email communications
  • Design basic outreach materials (flyers, graphics, presentations) using Canva or similar tools
  • Assist with drafting email newsletters and announcements
  • Support promotion of programs, events, and Fire Safe Council activities
  • Assist with event coordination and logistics
  • Monitor communications inboxes and flag time-sensitive inquiries
  • Help maintain communication with Fire Safe Councils and community partners
  • Update website content, event listings, and project pages
