Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods to promote programs, services, or causes.
• Engage in face-to-face conversations with community members to inform, educate, and motivate support.
• Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, track outreach efforts, and manage contact information efficiently.
• Employ persuasive communication techniques to negotiate and encourage participation or donations.
• Represent the organization professionally while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Participate in outdoor work environments, walking through neighborhoods to maximize outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet outreach goals and improve strategies for community engagement.

Requirements

• No experience required, but preferred.
• Prior field sales or canvassing experience is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of face-to-face communication and conversational engagement.
• Applicant must be a good communicator, reliable, and good with time management.
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for reaching broader audiences and enhancing communication effectiveness.
• Outdoor work experience, including walking extensively in various weather conditions, is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
