Responsibilities

• As a Fresh Impact Leader, you will help connect your campus to volunteer opportunities and increase awareness of upcoming events.
• You will primarily focus on sharing opportunities, engaging peers, and helping recruit student volunteers.
• This role offers hands-on experience in outreach, event promotion, and community engagement while supporting youth-focused initiatives across Birmingham.
• Event participation is optional but encouraged when available.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university (Birmingham area preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Reliable and organized with good time management
• Interest in community impact, leadership, and youth development
• Comfortable using social media and group messaging platforms for outreach

Preferred

• Involvement in student organizations or campus activities is a plus (not required)
