Job Summary

Drive data analytics and automation for Prime Video marketing measurement through cross‑functional programs and scalable insights.

  • Cross-functional liaison between engineering, data science, and marketing to deliver measurable programs and leadership updates.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Interacting with stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to understand primary use cases and questions.
  • Building data queries for ad hoc uses, dashboards, and deep-dive on data-pipeline.
  • Working with Data Engineers, Data scientists and Marketing media managers to provide data and insights for building Prime Video marketing measurement insights.
  • Managing cross organizational program for providing quality data for Prime Video Science models. Strong in communication and document writing for sharing regular updates on programs.
  • Gather detailed requirements from stakeholders to understand their manual processes and pain points. Serve as the liaison between the engineering team and Prime Video stakeholders.
  • Think creatively to identify opportunities to solve problems using technology-driven solutions.
  • Design and implement optimal automation solutions to address stakeholder needs.
  • Manage cross organizational Data programs. Respond to ad hoc requests, and communicate on program updates.
  • Run Tech prioritization mechanism, and write document for leadership review on program updates.
  • A day in the life: build innovative solutions with large-scale data tools, identify high-priority work and projects that maximize results for key stakeholders, and solve complex problems that impact company-wide strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • 3+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
  • 3+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • 3+ years of performing statistical analysis experience
  • 3+ years of developing automated reporting experience
  • Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Preferred

  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
