Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Regional Marketing Managers to support a broad range of marketing and business development activities.
  • Coordinating logistics for in-person and virtual conferences, seminars, forums, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and other events across the California and Seattle markets; providing onsite support for internal and external events as needed.
  • Preparing first drafts of pitches, RFP responses, client presentations, and other business development and marketing materials.
  • Maintaining and updating experience records and other practice-related content in firm databases to support future business development efforts.
  • Coordinating the collection of data and production of submissions for legal directories and rankings, including Chambers, Legal 500, and regional industry publications.
  • Updating and maintaining marketing collateral, including brochures, one-pagers, PowerPoint presentations, attorney biographies, and experience lists, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to firm branding standards.
  • Assisting with the editing, production, and distribution of newsletters, alerts, and other client-facing communications.
  • Developing a strong understanding of assigned markets, including attorney experience, client relationships, and strategic initiatives.
  • Utilizing CRM platforms, including InterAction, to identify and validate relationship targets, develop targeted contact lists, and support attorney outreach and business development campaigns.
  • Managing and updating relevant content on the firm's website, including attorney biographies, representative matters, and experience highlights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Prior experience with CRM platforms and marketing databases, such as InterAction and Foundation, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of business development and marketing practices within a professional services environment is preferred; law firm experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time-management abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and a high degree of professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
