Job Summary

Own the Infectious Disease product marketing portfolio from strategy through launch and on-market execution, leading global positioning, cross-functional collaboration, and post-launch support across R&D, commercial, and field teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the global product strategy, product development and commercialization of products in the Infectious Disease portfolio
  • Creatively build a global marketing plan to position our product lines to help countries achieve elimination goals
  • Collaborate on the execution of global marketing initiatives to grow our business including global product and portfolio strategy and roadmap; championing product development; formulating launch, marketing, and sales strategies; and providing on-market support.
  • Serve as product/market expert related to product positioning, claims, competitive information, product performance, etc.
  • Provide direction on user needs and product requirements based on insights generated from market research, customer input, internal stakeholder feedback, etc.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives such as portfolio management process and long- range strategic planning.
  • Provide leadership and direction to R&D and support organizations throughout product development cycle (e.g., trade-off analysis across customer, financial and timeline impacts).
  • Develop sales tools (literature, brochures, website, and all media), training materials, and field sales and customer communications to support sales and the customer and address any product line issues.
  • Ensure launch and post-launch success by providing support to global commercial organizations and on-market teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of product marketing/brand marketing experience in healthcare or medical products
  • Experience in product management/development and launch, including go-to-market planning.
  • Experience in developing compelling content for marketing materials.
  • Strong presentation & communication skills, strategic planning, critical thinking, decision-making capabilities, and analysis of market conditions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to influence others without authority.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills with ability to build alignment across variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated learning agility with ability to quickly master new topic areas.

Preferred

  • IVD experience, in Clinical Chemistry or laboratory highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working within the diagnostics field is strongly preferred.
